CAPE FYNBOS NATURAL SCIENCE
Fynbos, literally meaning “fine plants”, refers to a narrow strip of shrub-land extending along the Western and Eastern coastal provinces of South Africa. Fynbos, in spite of being one of the smallest of the world’s six floral kingdoms, is renowned for its high level of biodiversity, consisting of about 8 5000 species, 68% of which belong exclusively to the Cape Fynbos Kingdom.
Fynbos botanicals have been traditionally used in South Africa for centuries to alleviate ailments and promote health and well-being.
The Cape Fynbos indigenous essential oils in SuperNaturals products are sourced from farms in the Western Cape and Little Karoo where they are sustainably and organically cultivated and steam-distilled.

We use certified organically grown and manufactured Aloe Vera produced in the Western Cape of South Africa.

ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURS OR COLOURING
We do not use any synthetic flavours or fragrances, preferring the naturally aromatic integrity of our Cape Fynbos flowers and highest quality essential oils.

ARTIFICIAL PRESERVATIVES
We do not use artificial preservatives such as parabens, EDTA, trichlosan and formaldehyde. We know that natural preservatives work just as well and our products are tested at an internationally accredited laboratory for preservative efficacy to substantiate this.

ANIMAL INGREDIENTS
Most of our products are vegan and we work to find plant based alternatives for ingredients that may be made from animal ingredients.
Naturally our products are NOT tested on animals.

PETROCHEMICALS
We do not use petrochemicals such as mineral oil, paraffin, petrolatum, sodium hypochlorite or ethoxylated ingredients like polysorbates or PEGs.

ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS
We do not use Artificial sweeteners, including saccharin and aspartame, Propylene glycol, ammonia, methanol, gluten, Isopropyl alcohol, silicone.
